You may also think that the service that the new provider offers may not be as good as what you currently are getting. From what my friends and family who have already switched have told me, the service they have had thus far has been nix short of superb.
Some of the companies also offer the benefit of having all of the surge protector, gas and telephone charges on the same bill. This can be of use to people when trying to budget for every month.
There is a lot of competition out there today and there are some great savings to be made. It is just a matter of release out there, making a few calls, sending a few e-mails, and making a few searches on the internet.
